Welcome! 

We are excited that you are considering joining our team!  This page should provide you with all the information, contacts, and links you need to get started with the Flying Fish Arizona Swim Team (FAST).

If you are interested in our signing up for our Green Group, Summer Swim Team (Summer Fish), Masters or one of our Year-Round Groups (Blue, Bronze, Silver or Gold) follow the directions below. 

1. Complete the FAST REGISTRATION FORM or the MASTERS REGISTRATION FORM

2. Complete the USA Swimming Registration Form or Register online here with USMS (Masters)

3. You will need to schedule a tryout in order to ensure that your swimmer is placed in the correct practice group.

4. You will need to bring a copy of the swimmers’ birth certificate, and completed forms to the tryout. 

5. Once your swimmer has been evaluated by one of our coaches, you will be advised in which practice group he or she has been placed.  Your swimmer will then be  provided a "1 Week Trial" during which time he or she will be advised to watch his or her prospective group practice at least once. Your swimmer will then participate in 3 practices.

6. All Swimmers are required to register with the swim team (FAST).  The Annual Fee is $75. All swimmers are required to register at the beginning of the "Fall Season" (September) for the following year (good through Aug the following year).  The FAST Annual Fee is pro-rated to $40 for new swimmers who start during the summer season (April-through-August).  This $40 fee is included in the Summer Package.  

7. We are a year-round competitive team and, as such, all our swimmers and coaches are registered with USA Swimming through our Local Swim Committee (LSC) which is Arizona Swimming Inc. The Annual registration fee is $59 and is good through December 31, 2011.  All FAST swimmers are required to be registered with USA Swimming in order to participate in  any practices and/or meets. This $59 fee is included in the Summer Fish package.

8. FAST Parent and Swimmer Code of Conduct Form. Needs to be completed before swimming first swim meet.
