 News Flash:

National Top 10 Rankings for age groups 11-18 for last year (2010-11) are out!

Arizona Swimming is represented in 64 events from 34 swimmers.  The Flying Fish’s Isaac Stump covered 3 of those events:  11 yr. old boys 1000 yard freestyle (7^th), 11 yr. old boys 1650 freestyle (2^nd), and the 11 yr. old boys 800 metre freestyle (7^th).  Only 2 other Arizona Swimmers placed as high as Isaac, and none higher.  Recognition and congratulations are in order for Isaac and Coach Matt Brauer.

Looking for a good 60 min workout three days a week? Come to the pool... Our Masters Group now meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 6:00-7:00 am. We have an extremely diverse group in terms of ability and ALL are welcome.  Workouts are tailored to your particular ability/fitness level and are guaranteed to improve your fitness!  

Who are the Flying Fish?

FAST-AZ (Flying Fish Arizona Swim Team) is a year-round swim team, offering high quality teaching, coaching, and technique instruction for swimmers of all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide athletes the opportunity to improve swimming skills while emphasizing individual progress, team unity, character development and family participation.

Our coaches have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program available for youth coaches of any sport in the United States.  Weekly character training also guarantees that the time your children spend in swimming will be quality time.

Sonoran Desert Aquatics is a non-profit club doing business as (dba) Flying Fish of Arizona Swim Team (FAST). The club and team are run by the coaches and support committees and overseen by an elected Board of Directors, which meets each month.  All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities and fundraisers.
